メインのパソコンは水槽部屋に置いてあるので、リビングでインターネットする時は無線ＬＡＮで飛ばしてました。そんなに大きな家じゃないんだけど電波が弱くて位置によっては無線が届かなくて困ってました。そこで年末に発売されたＰＬＣを導入してみました。コンセント（電気配線）を利用してネットワークを構築するという奴です。
パナソニックの方が安かったのですが売り切れだったので、Ｉ－Ｏ ＤＡＴＡの製品を購入しました。マニュアル通りにコンセントに繋ぐだけで簡単に開通しました。無線のアクセスポイントをリビングに持っていけたのでリビングの中ならどこでも快適にインターネットできます。ノートパソコン、ＰＤＡ、ＰＳＰ、ＮｉｎｔｅｎｄｏＤＳなどすべて快適です。
実はこれでもうひとつ狙っているのが、アップルＴＶです。水槽部屋のＰＣのビデオデータをリビングのテレビに飛ばそうかと思っています。
